Bongo was upset to see that Ms. Venus de Milo had been broken. He looked around for the broken bits and for any of her beans, but Mr. Neil said that it happened a long time ago. Bongo thought they should get a new one. Mr. Neil said something about American influence that Bongo didn't understand, but decided to talk to Mr. Jim about it.

 Bongo wanted to buy a 'Bongo-sized' Venus de Milo from the souvenir shop but Mr. Neil said that they were 'tacky'.
