While Bongo was on his trip in the USA, a very bad thing happened.  Here Bongo is reading the Houston Chronicle EXTRA edition about the space shuttle breaking up while it was on its way home.

It was very sad and Bongo thought about it for a long time.  He decided that the space shuttle was doing important work that had long term benefits.

It was dangerous and exciting, challenging and fun, costly and valuable. 

Bongo hopes that the people keep exploring space.  

There is a LOT more space than there is Earth and there is no telling what they might find.
