Bongo listened carefully to the "Porch Talk" that everyone hears at the "Head of Dean" camp.  This is the time when visitors learn about important things like where are the toilets and if there are any wild animals hanging around the area.

Bongo was especially concerned about the animals since they were all bigger than he.  He wasn't so concerned about the toilets
